"Rob and Rachel Feltham's Perfect Wedding"
Date of review: 19 March 2011

Our wedding took place on a glorious sunny spring day in March 2011 at the beautiful Yeovil Court Hotel in Yeovil, Somerset, my home town. We chose this intimate and cosy venue as we wanted a small and relaxed civil ceremony, and it was perfect for each element of our special day, and our guests could relax in the same venue all day. Our civil ceremony took place in the lounge with just 27 of our closest family members, followed by an intimate wedding breakfast of spring vegetable soup, breast of local chicken with thyme sauce, and the sweetest homemade Bramley apple pie!

"Very good hotel and satisfying breakfast"
Date of review: 9 May 2011

We stayed in a bedroom in the annexe, which looked very new. Comfortable bed and a very quiet location. We were served a good English breakfast in the morning.
We would certainly stay here again if we visited the area on another occasion.
Room Tip: Ask for the annexe.

"Wonderful Hotel"
Date of review: 4 May 2011

This hotel is superb. The room was very large, crisp, spotless and had the most comfortable king size bed. The staff were very friendly and the stay was effortless. We ordered room service which was a real treat and breakfast was gorgeous. Furthermore, we managed to get a really good deal. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

"Simply the best hotel I have stayed at for a long time"
Date of review: 27 April 2011

I stayed for one night at Yeovil court hotel with my mum and sister in law as we are coming back to stay in July as i am getting married near Sherborne so were looking for a hotel for friends and family to stay in. This was our first time in Yeovil and from the very beginning of our stay we were looked after - all the staff we met were so welcoming and Brian is the friendliest, nicest manager i have met in ages. You really feel they all want you to have a good stay and go out of their way to make you feel at ease (something chain hotels never do). Our rooms were spotless and lovely - i have stayed in soooo many places but was so surprised by how nice they were. Comfy beds, felt really clean and brilliant hot shower too! and oh my god the food - words cannot describe how wonderful the food is (the chef should apply for Masterchef). i am meant to be getting into my wedding dress in July and the diet went back a few steps when i stayed here as all the food is incredible ! we had lunch, dinner (i never eat pudding but this time i did as the pudding was amazing and beautifully presented) and breakfast at the hotel. Each meal was just perfect. Big praise to the chefs (and can i say that the scrambled egg i had in the morning was the best i have ever had) I really think this is a gem of a hotel and am so glad that nearly all of my wedding party are staying in the hotel (the rest of the wedding party cant fit in sadly - if there was a sister hotel i would send them there but sadly not!!). If I lived in Yeovil i would be a regular - am so looking forward to coming back and i know my family and friends will love it when they come for our wedding in July. so much so we are already thinking this is the perfect place for an annual family get together. In summary brilliant rooms, uber friendly staff, the best food i have had in such a long time (and i live in london where the choice is endless) and a hidden gem. Faultless ! If you go to Yeovil for work or leisure or are even passing through i cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you brian and the team - you could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. keep up the good work and see you in July.
Room Tip: make sure you eat here as well as stay

"A little gem on the outskirts of Yeovil"
Date of review: 13 March 2011

What a great Hotel!!

This is a local Hotel to us on the outskirts of Yeovil. We have over the past few months used the Hotel on many occasions, mainly for evening drinks and Sunday lunches. We have taken Parents and other family members to eat in the restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is equal to the food. All of the staff are welcoming friendly and professional and you get the level of service you would expect from a quality hotel.
We would recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family. A really good venue for family celebrations.
