Getting to and from the hotel

Being close to the A303 the hotel is easily reached for travellers from London, the South East and the home counties,Not far from the M5 Motorway travel from the North and South West is simple. Guests are advised that in busy periods guests travelling along the A303 will find the roads around Stonehenge are notoriously busy and queues should be expected.

The hotel lays only 40 minutes drive from the seaside towns of Weymouth and Lyme Regis and within easy travelling distance from the historic cities of Bristol, Bath, Wells and Exeter.

Yeovil hosts 2 railways stations. Yeovil Penn Mill, and Yeovil Junction. Travel to and from London is possible from both stations, with Yeovil Junction serving London Waterloo ( changing at Salisbury ) and Yeovil Penn Mill serving London Paddington ( changing at Westbury )

With direct trains to Salisbury, Bristol, Exeter, Weymouth, travel to and from the hotel is simple. Both railway stations can be accessed via a short taxi ride. Taxis can be arranged from the hotel reception. Please allow at least 30 minutes before your train departs when booking taxis to the railway station.

For guests travelling from overseas, Bristol Airport lies about 1 and a half hours away. Exeter Airport is about 45 minutes drive away. For guests requiring transport to travel to the airport we would recommend a train to Bristol Temple Meads and simple bus ride to the airport. Taxi fares to and from the hotel from Bristol Airport are high and not recommended.
